Supporting many industries including the Military, there are thousands of Advantech onboard hardware units installed around the world supporting a whole range of mobile applications.

VMC 1100SNC All-In-One Vehicle Computer with Touch Screen and Multifunctional Tracker

VMC 1100, a new generation 7-inch vehicle mount computer with dual core Intel® Atom™ processor, is designed for transportation applications requiring real-time vehicle tracking. Adopting the latest low power consumption processor and integrating a WVGA LCD with a brightness of 400nits and a 4-wire resistive touch sensor, VMC 1100 does not compromise with its space to sacrifice its functional features. It provides dual CANbus, RS-232, RS-485, USB 3.0, GPIO, analog input, PWM and LAN signal. For security, VMC 1100 supports real-time vehicle tracking through GPS and SMS/GSM/GPRS. The MineLink configuration above is a similar installation for both the TREK-753 and the VCM 1000SNC LCD MDT Options

The standard MineLink onboard vehicle installation uses either a TREK-753 LCD MDT or a VMC 1100SNC unit. It is also equipped with two (2) WiFi antennas, one on the left and one on the right side of the vehicle, a GPS antenna, WiFi Radio, POE and industrial grade Voltage Protection.

All hardware solutions have been tested for vehicle applications in the toughest and harshest environments. Both the wireless radio and the onboard screen are located inside the cab.  The antennas are mounted outside. All exterior cables are shielded with high-grade industrial conduits that meet best practice standards for any heavy equipment installation.
